The question is: Will SKVI break through its resistance of $0.25? From Friday's close that is a potential 66% gain.
OTCBB: SKVI
Dear Members:
The question is: Will SKVI break through its resistance of $0.25? From Friday’s close that is a potential 66% gain.
Here is what I am suggesting:
I will digress a moment. You need to know the story. This is a company I have visited personally at their headquarters in Las Vegas. The company has been around for ten years and has even been in the same physical location for ten years. They deal with many pharmaceutical companies worldwide. The biggest names, real contracts, real contacts.
THE FACTS:
- They developed over a period of several years DermSafe.
- DermSafe is a hand sanitizer better than any other you have heard of. Beside immediately killing viruses on your hands, it keeps that killing power for up to FOUR HOURS.
- It kills the H1N1 virus for up to FOUR HOURS. Nothing else anywhere does this.
- It is safe, effective and known. The active ingredient has been used in hospitals for 50 years.
- Although that active ingredient exists, nobody before has been able to make it last for hours and hours. Skinvisible adheres to skin using it patented polymer. (Read this: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Invisicare-Approved-for-pz-3869139635.html?x=0&.v=1)
- Buying SKVI is an excellent way to be a part of combating H1N1.
- 93 million shares. No preferred stock. Nothing that could undermine what shareholders hold. The same common stock the directors and key execs hold are the same common shares you buy.
- Company has had revenue for years, and could stand alone without DermSafe.
WHY WOULD IT CHALLENGE ITS RECENT 52 WEEK HIGH?
Two reasons: NEWS and DEMAND.
Regarding news… How can this product that is being aggressively marketed worldwide not generate news and releases? Each time a material agreement is signed there is going to either be a press release or an 8K filing.
Pay attention to what news has done in the past. It has had a huge effect. It is now on the radar in many places.
Regarding demand… Look at the produce and what it does. Then look at Drudge Report, CNN.com, news.bbc.co.uk, cbc.ca, and every other major news web site worldwide. H1N1 is on the front page of each and every one of these sites. Sometime big and obvious, sometimes a bit smaller. This is only the beginning. What are people asking? How can I protect my family.
Friday’s close was a bargain. I point this out because it is truly without recent parallel in the small cap arena.
BUY AND SELL or BUY AND HOLD?
I know many people are out to buy and sell for the quick profit. There are certain stocks out there that are buy and holds. This is one. You have to do your own due diligence, and – of course – make a rational decision when it comes to how to weight your personal portfolio.
I said in one of my weekend blogs, put this away a year and then look at it. If you do that with a modest amount of money you may be quite happy.
There are risks. You have to do your own research. Check this one out. Do not make impulsive decisions. Make a rational decision. I think doing that you will still have SKVI on your buy list.
Good luck!
